NOTE:
Dr.Mahalingam College of Engineering and
Technology, Pollachi, Coimbatore is fast expanding,
private, self financial, non-profit making coeducational
institution. MCET was established in 1998 to
commemorate the 75th birthday of our beloved
Chairman Emeritus Arutchelvar Padmabhusan
Dr. N. Mahalingam and to cater to the needs of
students aspiring to pursue education in the field of
Engineering & Technology. MCET is an autonomous
institution and has been approved by All India Council
for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi,
accredited by NAAC and affiliated to Anna University,
Chennai. The departments of our institute have been
accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA)
New Delhi. NAAC has accredited the institution with
'A' Grade (3.61 CGPA out of 4) and ISO 9001:2008
certified by TUV Rheinland*. MCET currently offers
9 UG programs (Mech, ECE, EEE, ICE, EIE, CSE,
IT, Automobile and Civil), 6 PG programs and
2 doctoral programs in engineering and technology.

collaboration with Yokogawa India Ltd.

ABOUT THE ISA-MCET STUDENT SECTION
P INTENATIONAL SOCIETY OF AUTOMATIONMCET students section was started in 2012 with
150 students of EIE & ICE.
P It is organizing lot of events to emphasis young
minds with the skills of automation.
P Students are given an outlook about the
industrial environment through field trips.
P A newsletter for this academic year is to be
released on this auspicious day.
* In a joint survey done by AICTE and CII, MCET has
been awarded 25th Rank in Industry - Institute
Partnership.
