Attention of International passengers and public is invited to this Custom House Trade Facility No.
29/2013 dated 25.09.13 regarding the clearance of passenger baggage and the implementation of the ‘Customs
Baggage Declaration Regulation, 2013’ notified by the Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC) vide
Notification No. 90/2013 Cus (NT) dated 29.08.13 and the corrigendum dated 10.09.13 to the said notification.
Subsequently, in partial modification of the aforesaid notification vide the Customs Baggage Declaration
(Amendment) Regulations, 2013 (Ref: CBEC vide Notification No. 133/2013 Cus (NT) dated 30.12.2013), the
date of implementation of said regulations has been postponed to 1st March 2014, as against 1st January 2014
mentioned in the earlier notification.
