The sixth edition of Worlddidac India 2014 was a great success in all respects. The event received an overwhelming
response from all exhibitors, visitors and delegates. The international exhibition and conference presented real-life
solutions to all possible manner of changes in the South Asian region, with a focus on the Indian Education &
Training sector. Held annually, the only show of its kind in India and the largest in the Asia-Pacific region, it achieved
great results in terms of participation, attendance and public awareness.
WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2014 witnessed the presence of quality educationists, ministry officials, trade visitors, trade
buyers, industry professionals etc. from across the globe over the three days. The exhibition brought together
prominent players from the education and training industry, thus offering the visitors access to a varied quantum of
information pertaining to the industry.

Asian Summit on Education & Skills 2014
The annual conference, Asian Summit on Education & Skills (ASES) 2014 was held from 9th to 12th September 2014 in New
Delhi, India.
ASES 2014 (9th Sept. 2014) - For Policy Makers and Key implementers
The ministerial summit, partnered by Education World Forum London, recognised the needs and desires of governments (national
and state) in the Asia Pacific region to develop education at all levels; implementation of technology advancements, the ability of
major industry players to play key roles in making change happen; and the value of a regional summit to build consensus and
promoted confidence among decision-makers in their routes to successful policies and in the industry partners who can help them.
ASES 2014 (10th - 12th Sept. 2014) – For Key Educationists and stakeholders
Building on the summit held on 9th September 2014 and taking its learnings forward, ASES continued from 10th to 12th
September 2014. ASES is an invitation-only event for key stakeholders from the Education & Training sector. The summit
brought together influential leaders, eminent educationists and other key stakeholders to create an unparalleled platform for
exchange of dialogues on implementation of policies, adopting technology and new growth drivers that are revolutionising the
education and training sector in India and around the world. The delegates shared their visionary inputs at the summit, thus
creating a valuable exchange of ideas & future practices with the aim to arrive at consensual solutions for taking the Asian
Education & Training industry to the Next level – Together. The three day summit took place concurrently with the Worlddidac
India 2014.

‘IDA Connect Workshops @ Worlddidac India’ was held simultaneously in 2 Arenas conducted by 11
organizations covering 15 topics over a period of 3 days from 10th to 12th September 2014 in New Delhi.
During the three days, over 2000 pre-registered participants were engaged in sessions covering various approaches to
educational resources and solutions for the education institutions and educators to explore aspects in understanding
the use & implementation of technology and various other advancements both international and national.
With an average duration of 60 – 90 minutes per session, the workshops provided an in-depth, hands-on exploration
of topics to meet various individual & institutional needs.
The Workshops, with the addition of live web-streaming proved to be an ideal platform for educators and trainers to
enhance their knowledge for practical and successful implementations of new age educational solutions.
The participants included Principals, Academicians, Teachers, Senior Management, and Administrative Heads from Education &
Training Institutes, Universities & Schools (public & private) covering all levels from primary education to higher education including
vocational training.

Winners and Special Awardees of the 2014 IDA Awards were announced and felicitated at the IDA
Awards Ceremony and Dinner night, on the evening of 11th September 2014 at the Worlddidac India
Exhibition, New Delhi. This year, the prestigious IDA Awards garnered over twice the number of
entries compared to last year, from top industry players vying and competing in 10 Corporate
Categories.
'IDA Awards' is an annual presentation of India Didactics Association, the premier trade association
for the Indian education and training fraternity engaged in improving learning and teaching. Every
year the award ceremony is held concurrently with Worlddidac India, the largest exhibition in the
Asia-Pacific region for educational material, training & technology based solutions for all levels and
sectors of the Indian education & training industry.
Apart from all the well deserving awardees in the 10 categories, this year the Individual award for
'Outstanding Contribution towards Education & Training in India' was conferred to Mr. Atul
Chauhan, Chancellor - Amity University, President - Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, CEO AKC Group of Companies. The award was presented by the Hon. Education Minister of Nepal, H.E.
Mrs. Chitra Lekha Yadav, who also graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Other key dignitaries and industry partners were present on the occasion from India and various
countries like UK, Germany, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, USA, and Canada etc.
The Awards Ceremony was on invitation basis only and was attended by around 300 top industry leaders and education
innovators, providing an evening of acknowledgement, entertainment and opportunity to network with industry peers.

WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2014 has over the years become the most awaited event in the education and training domain
in the Asia-Pacific region. It brings together all the stake holders of the fraternity for - collaborating, exchanging,
promoting, networking and sharing of the best practices in the education and training sector. The visitors included
domestic and overseas users & purchasers, making procurements and collecting information on the latest products,
resources and technologies related to their teaching and training processes.
The event provided the perfect platform for senior representatives from the government,
education & corporate to discuss and explore the future needs for this ever growing & most
important industry in India's progress with a mix of talks, presentations & panel
discussions. The 3 day event comprising the exhibition, conference and various workshops
brought together the teaching & training fraternity for making them familiar with the
advancements taking place in the global arena. The event was a Global Showcase of the best
practices and solutions from across the globe.
With a focus on adding varied products & solutions to the 7th edition of the show and the determination to expand &
improve, Worlddidac India is confident of bringing a much bigger event in 2015. Taking this journey ahead,
WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2015 is set to take place from 9th to 11th September 2015 in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India.
