Multiple competitors in the same event must take the test at the same time (regular or conflict)
Three competitors per chapter allowed in all objective test events
Top three in all events at the SLC qualify for the NLC
Person scoring the highest at SLC on the Mr./Ms. FBL Exam Qualifies for the NLC Team scoring the highest at the district conference on the current events objective test qualifies for state competition
At the NLC a member may compete in one individual or team event and one chapter event

GENERAL POLICY
• At the SLC competitors may not leave any handouts with the judges
• Statements of Assurance should be typed and mailed
• In events at the SLC where objective tests are given to determine the Top Ten, competitors in the final round must have taken the written exam
• All members of a team must take the test at the same time

SCHOLARSHIPS
NEW EVENTS
• District Conference winners in Mr. FBL, Ms. FBL, and Parliamentary Procedure (team) receive $100
• State Leadership Conference winners in Mr. FBL, Ms. FBL, and Parliamentary Procedure (team) receive $1000
• At the SLC the winner of the Richard D. Clanton Memorial Award receives $500
• At the SLC the first, second, and third place winners in Who’s Who in Louisiana FBLA receive $500
• At the SLC the first place winner in Who’s Who in Louisiana FBLA who attends the NLC will receive financial assistance to equal the cost of the trip for a quad room
 Sales Presentation: A Chapter may submit one entry, created by an individual member. Participants will sell a product or concept of their choice to the judges. The individual has j g
up to seven (7) minutes to present to the judges and sell the product or concept.
Modified Events
 Desktop Publishing: A chapter may enter one individual or one team of two people. Students will work on a topic found in the state guidelines and send the solution to problem to the State Adviser by February 27.
 Job Interview: A completed job application form will be required for district competition.
 Local Chapter Annual Business Report:
 Report limited to 15 pages as all reports except Business Plan which remains limited to 30 pages.
 Social Media Campaign: A Chapter may enter an individual or one team of two or three contestants. This is a prejudged event.

Louisiana FBLA Foundation
 Foundation: The Louisiana FBLA Foundation has been established. One dollar from each member’s state dues will automatically be designated to the Louisiana FBLA Foundation; therefore, a chapter with 50 members will automatically be a member of the Foundation after paying their state dues.  Chapters with fewer than 50 members may make an additional contribution for the balance of the $50 to become members.
 Chapters are encouraged to make additional contributions to the Louisiana FBLA Foundation.
Conflict Testing
 Conflict testing is to accommodate those with extreme emergencies only, no exceptions.
 Conflict testing is not a time for persons to take a test when he or she is ready. Please keep in mind if you when he or she is ready Please keep in mind if you have more than one student registered to take the same test, they must take the test at the same time. If there are other problems with the conflict testing time, please see headquarters.
