Award for Study / Research Projects & Exchange Programs 2014/2015 Hsin Chong - K. N. Godfrey Yeh Education Fund has made available HK$21,000 as award for study / research projects and exchange programs* for the year 2014/2015 Organizer Hsin Chong - K. N. Godfrey Yeh Education Fund Objective The Award is intended to encourage students to organize study / research projects / non-academic exchange programs* for student development. Awards usually cover part of the project expenses. Full subsidies may only be granted for distinguished projects/programs. * Academic exchange programs will not be granted for the Award. Eligibility All registered full-time undergraduate students as individuals or in groups are eligible to apply. Amount of awards HK$21,000 Selection Criteria - the planning and organization of the proposed project/program; - the extent to which the participants will benefit from the proposed project/program; - financial condition of applicants with preference to those in financial need (proof is required); - preference to projects related to the disciplines of Building, Civil Engineering and Architecture; - the activity/program should be completed by the end of the academic year 2014/15. Reporting Successful applicants are required to submit to SAO a written report (in duplicate) within 30 days upon completion of the activity/program. The report should cover the project/program held, evaluation/gains and outcomes. A financial statement and original receipts of expenditures are necessary for reimbursement of the amount awarded. Failure to submit the required documents would result in cessation of committed funding for the activity/program concerned. Application Please click here to download the application form. Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis. Students should apply for the Award beforehand. Past events will not be considered and subsides will not be granted retrospectively. Interview Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an interview.
