Purpose The purpose of First Baptist Church Preschool is to provide a multifaceted ministry of serving and nurturing children and their families. We strive to manifest the love of Christ in the following ways:  Supporting Christian families in spiritual rearing of their children by providing quality childcare in a Christian atmosphere.  Nurturing children through meeting their physical, social, emotional, cognitive and spiritual needs.  Teaching parents and others by example of adult/child interaction patterns based on principals revealed in scripture.  Fostering greater intimacy and interdependence between families within our fellowship. General Information Location: FBC Preschool is located on the first floor of the “Kidz Place” building. Hours of operation: 8:30 AM — Noon | August — mid-May. Curriculum: We teach the “Wee Learn” curriculum. Each unit provides guidance and activities to help each child develop language, reading, writing and math skills appropriate for his/her stage of development. This curriculum also provides activities necessary for physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual development. Special interests: The children have visitors from the community, special field trips and weekly Chapel where they will learn new songs and hear Biblical devotionals.
