These classes are led by a trained Arahata, an Eckankar teacher, and are open to the public.

Spiritual Exercise of the
Month:
Mahanta at the Door
‘The Mahanta at the Door’ during the day.
The energy you have put into this will carry
over and help you at night.
You are going to get very used to opening
the door and expecting to see someone that
you want to see standing there. This helps to
open the heart so that you can open the door
with love. Because unless you do, you will
never see the Inner Master. If you can open
the door with love, the Master will come to
you, because the Mahanta is always here.”
“Throughout the week, somebody is always
knocking on your door or ringing your
doorbell. Each time it happens, say to
yourself, ‘It will be the Mahanta, the Living
ECK Master.’ Be very aware of what you are
doing at that moment-where you walk, what
you touch, and what you see. When you open
the door, no matter who it is, be conscious —Harold Klemp

what he or she is wearing.
Let’s say you’re in the kitchen washing
dishes when the doorbell rings. Observe your
movements. You reach for the towel, dry
your hands, walk to the door, and open it upand expect to see the Mahanta.
It might be the little child from next door,

but this is the ECK in expression at a certain

level. It’s bringing something for you. In a
sense, each being on every plane is the

expressing some degree of truth through
every person we meet.
When you go to bed that night, review any
experiences you had with visitors. Retrace
your steps from the moment you heard the
knock until the time you opened the door:
The person knocked several times; you
noticed this or that on the way to the door;
you knew it would be the Mahanta. Who did
you see when you opened the door? It was
the newsboy collecting for the paper.
Remember details;: What was he wearing?
What did he say? This is a spiritual exercise
that you can build into your daily life. Try

El Ejercicio Espiritual del Mės
El Mahanta en la Puerta
“En la semana, siempre hay alguien que está
tocando o sonando el tiembre de tu puerta. Cada
vez que ésto sucede, pregúntate, “Será el
Mahanta, el Maestro Viviente de ECK”. Presta
atención a lo que estás haciendo en ese
momento, a lo que tocas y a lo que ves. Al abrir
la puerta, sin importar quien sea, presta atención
a su aspecto, y al atuendo que víste.
Vamos a suponer que cuando el timbre de la
puerta suena tú estás en la cocina fregando los
platos. Observa tus movimientos, tomas la
toalla, secas tus manos, te diriges a la puerta, la
abres y esperas ver al Mahanta.
Quizá sea el niño, vecinito del al lado, pero
realmente es el ECK en acción que de alguna
manera trae algo para tí. Hasta cierto punto,
cada ser de cada plano es el Mahanta; y de
alguna manera el Mahanta se comunica contigo
a través de cada persona con la que te
comunicas.
