SN-1 Name of Works:- Lumding Division – Replacement of old MG standard girders of Br. No. 172 (ex. Span 3x18.3m(G) at Km. 191/0-1 in LMG-FKG section by 25 t loading standard steel girders. Approximate Tender Value:- `1,40,23,163.00 ; Earnest money deposit:- `2,20,120.00; Completion period:- 12 (Twelve) months & Cost of tender documents :- `5,000.00. SN-2 Name of Works:- Balance work of strengthening of 17 Nos. steel bridge girder along with replacement of lateral bracing angle, gusset plate etc. of Br. Nos. 44UP, 44DN, 2DN, 32UP, 7UP, 7DN, 18A-UP, 18A-DN, 111UP, 117DN between section NJP-MLDT; Br. Nos. 11UP, 11DN, 12A-UP, 12A DN, 24, 16DN between section NJP-RQJ and Br. No. 9 between section KDPR-KIR under the jurisdiction of SSE/BR/NJP. SN-3 Name of Works:- Providing of Quality Control Services as per RDSO’s guide line for fabrication of steel girders by Ultrasonic Testing on Plate and weldment on Submerged Arc Welding for Welded Plate girders of different span at Engineering Workshop, Bongaigaon, Assam. Approximate Tender Value:- `10,20,400.00; Earnest money deposit:- `20,410.00; Completion period:- 12 (Twelve) months & Cost of tender documents :- `2,000.00. Railway/New Jalpaiguri, P.O.- Bhaktinagar, Distt.- Jalpaiguri (West Bengal) on any working days from 10.00 hours to 16.00 hours from 15.10.2014 to 29.10.2014 and up to 12.00 hours of 30.10.2014 by paying the amount per set of Tender Papers. The tender paper will be received up to 15.00 hours of 30.10.2014 in the offices mentioned above. No offer will be accepted by the Railways if send through FAX/TELEX/Website etc. Date & place of opening:- (1) Office of the Deputy Chief Engineer/Bridge-Line, N. F. Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati-781011, Assam at 15.00 hours of 31.10.2014 in presence of the Tenderer(s) or their authorized representatives who wish(es) to remain present. For bandh/closed holiday:- If the date of opening happens to be a Bandh or closed holiday, Tender will be opened on the following working day. Validity of the offer: - 120 days from the date of opening of the tender. Earnest Money Deposit:The tenderer/s should deposit required Earnest Money in Cash or in the form of Deposit Receipts, Pay Orders or Demand Drafts executed by State Bank of India or any other Nationalized Bank or by a Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of FA & CAO/N.F.RAILWAY, MALIGAON along with his/their tender. In case the offer is not accompanied by requisite Earnest Money in proper form, the tender will summarily be rejected. Standing Earnest Money Deposit shall not be entertained against this work. The successful contractor shall be required to give Performance Guarantee in the form of an irrevocable Bank Guarantee or any other means as given in Tender Document amounting to 5% of the Contract value. (i) The successful Bidder shall have to submit the P.G. within 30 days from the date of issue of Letter Of Acceptance. (ii) If the P.G. is not submitted within 30 days, then beyond 30 days a penal interest of 15% p.a. shall be charged. (iii) If P.G is not submitted within 60 days from the date of issue of Letter Of Acceptance, the contract shall be terminated duly forfeiting the EMD & other dues. (iv) The failed contractor will be debarred from participating in re-tender for that work. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TENDER:- Tenderer(s) should satisfy following eligibility criteria- Tenderer (s) should submit following credentials along with the offer, failing which the tender may be rejected. The Tenderer should go through these Eligibility criteria before purchasing the tender documents. The Tenderer should have completed in last three financial years i.e. current year & three previous financial years, at least one similar single work for a minimum value of 35% of advertised tender value of work. Definition of similar nature work:For SN-1:- Fabrication, assembly & launching/re-girdering of girders of at least one span of 12.2m span. The Tenderer should have received total contract amount during the last three years a minimum of 150% of advertised Tender value of work, supported by (a) Authenticated Payment record of N.F. Railway or any other Government department or PSU etc. or (b) Audited Financial Statement certified by Chartered Accountant. His capacity to undertake and carry out the work satisfactorily with details about the transport equipments, construction tools & plants etc. required for the work, maintained by him. 2. Detailed particulars of works he/they have executed in the past should be submitted along with the Tender. 3. Detail composition of the Firm. 4. List of present workload in hand has to be submitted along with the tender. 5. List of technical personnel proposed to be engaged in this work. 6. The Person(s) who will conduct the USFD Test on behalf of the Contractor/Firm must have valid A.S.N.T Level-II (minimum) certificate. (For SN-3 only) 7. Details of USFD Equipments and other related tools/plants along with their calibration test certificates required to satisfactorily complete the work must be furnished by the Firm as a proof of the Firm’s capacity to undertake such specialized work. (For SN-3 only) SPECIAL NOTES FOR THE TENDERER The Clauses regarding Security Deposit & Performance Guarantee are available in the Tender Document. (1) Standing Earnest Money Deposit, if any, with the Railway will not be considered for the purpose of this Tender. (2) The Tenderer must drop their Tender offer with all requisite documents relating to their credentials. (3) The Tenderer should visit the site of work & acquaint themselves with the conditions & expected quantum of work in their own interest before purchasing the Tender document. (4) Tenderer shall furnish his postal address clearly in the specified place in the tender document. (5) The tenderer should note that if he/they desire to purchase the tender Document through authorized representative, he/they must send a letter of authority duly attesting the specimen signature of his/their representative on a letter pad.
