Presentation Marj Stirzaker- Families Need Fathers (FNF) Both Parents Matter
A national Charity which provides information and support to parents, whether married or
unmarried, and to both men and women. FNF is chiefly concerned with the problems of
maintaining a child's relationship with both parents, during and after family breakdown. FNF
helps thousands of parents each year and also supports members of the wider family if
required. The local branch offers a warm welcome to all parents and family members who are
affected by difficulties in maintaining contact with their children as a result of relationship
breakdown. At monthly meetings there are Parents with similar experiences. The self-help
group aim to support and guide each other in solving problems and regaining balance when
things break down. The group help each other find information that enables them to make
informed choices about how to move ahead.
Birkenhead meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, at Gallagher’s Pub, 20
Chester Street, Birkenhead CH41 5DQ at 7.00pm.
