CONVERSION PIPE KIT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR MODEL 12-8DM-FMI-LHP (H9198) For more information, visit IHP.US.com The 12-8DM-FMI-LHP is a 12” long vent pipe that allows FTF8 chimney components to be used on wood-burning fireplaces manufactured by Innovative Hearth Products under the FMI, Superior, and Astria Brands. INSTALLATION Instructions for use: The conversion pipe will allow the conversion from 8DM chimney to FTF8 Chimney components. The bottom of the adaptor has been formed to mate and lock with 8DM chimney. The top of the pipe section will mate and lock with FTF8 Chimney components. 1. Engage and snap lock the inner section of pipe onto the fireplace flue collar or onto a section of 8DM pipe. Pull up to confirm the pipe is locked into place. 2. Slide the outer pipe section over the inner pipe section and engage and snap lock the pipe. Pull up to confirm the pipe is locked in place. 3.
