Oakville Plant successfully implements power Optimizing devices and saves 10% on their monthly electric bill GUELPH, Ontario – July 24, 2012 – Con-Cast Pipe Inc. announced today its ‘Zero Net Cost’ energy efficiency project conducted with NUS Consulting Group, and Wheelworks Energy Inc. at its Oakville plant, delivers sustained electricity savings. The project was anchored on leading energy efficiency technologies marketed by the Effect Operational Sales Group (Effect OSG), namely the KVAR Energy Controllers (KVAR ECs™) which optimizes power factor and Somar™ Integra for voltage optimization of motors. These technologies work by automatically optimizing the efficiency of the electric system, thereby reducing energy consumption for electric utility customers, demand on the electric grid, line losses and carbon footprint.
