Important Notes:
1. Provisionally selected candidates are advised to report to the office of the Registrar, Islamic University of Science
& Technology (IUST), Awantipora on any working day (Monday to Saturday) except Sunday and Gazetted Holidays
upto 15th of July, 2014 (Tuesday) along with all the relevant documents in original and the requisite fee to be
deposited in J&K Bank Ltd., IUST Campus, Awantipora.
2. The selection of the candidates is strictly provisional and subject to the production / verification of the original
documents / valid category certificate(s) wherever applicable. However, in case a discrepancy of any kind is found
at any point of time, the University reserves the right to cancel such selection / admission thereof.
3. The candidates shall have to submit an Affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate/ Public Notary to the effect
that he/she is neither on the rolls of any institution nor employed in any Government / Semi Government
Department.
4. The candidates in the General Waiting List are advised to report (in person) on 17th of July, 2014 (Thursday) to
Assistant Registrar Admissions along with all relevant documents in original and a fee of Rs. 34000/- in the shape
of Demand Draft favouring Islamic University of Science & Technology payable at J&K Bank Ltd. Awantipora for
admission in case of any available vacancy(ies) failing which the seat shall be allotted to the next candidate as per
the merit and preference.
5. The resultant vacany(ies), if any, shall be filled on the basis of merit and preference subsequent to the upgradation
of already registered / selected candidates.
6. The candidates having SINGLE asterisk mark (*) superscripted on their roll numbers are already registered
candidates and have been upgraded from one branch to another in view of their merit and preference. Such
candidates are informed to note about the allotment of their upgraded branches for future references.
7. The candidate bearing Form No. 400571 has been upgraded from Civil Engineering (Self Financing category) to
Electronics & Communication Engineering (Open Merit) and she is advised to report in writing to Assistant
Registrar Admissions for the final allocation of their branches 14th of July, 2014 (Monday) failing which the
candidate shall be considered in the already registered branch.
