Job Opportunity: Digitization/Research Assistant
The Saskatchewan Indian Cultural Centre is seeking two enthusiastic post-secondary
students for summer job positions. These positions involve working with the Cultural
Centre’s extensive collections of historic photos and Oral History recordings. The
Cultural Centre offers a positive work environment that will ensure the successful
candidate will gain essential work experience.
The Cultural Centre has played a central role in promoting, preserving and protecting
First Nations’ languages and cultures for 42 years. The successful candidates will be
provided with strong cultural and language knowledge during their time with the Cultural
Centre.
The successful candidate will be between 16 and 30 years of age at the start of
employment and be willing to commit to the full duration of the work assignment. This is
a term position lasting 14 weeks from May 12, 2014 to August 8, 2014.
