All vendors will receive their application status via email by May 12;
booth fees will be returned to those not accepted. Once accepted, your
booth fee is non-refundable.

This is the Festivals 28th year. We expect 10,000 attendees over the weekend. Your booth fee
includes two (2) weekend passes for each 10 x 10 space. You provide your own 10 x 10 tent.
You also get parking for ONE vehicle only. If you need more tickets, weekend passes are
available for $50 each (limit of 4). Musical line-up will be announced April 1. Vendors will be
located in the lower field, creating a “craft alley” en route to the second stage.
Vendor Policies and Procedures:

Work for sale in your booth must be handmade. No imports or commercial vendors.
!
Vendors must attend both days and keep their booth open until 8pm on Saturday. You
may drive your vehicle to your booth space to set up Friday afternoon or Saturday
morning. All vehicles must be off the field by 11:00am Saturday and you must be ready
for business by noon. You may stay open later on Saturday during the balloon
illumination display at 9pm; and you may not pack up or leave until 7pm on Sunday.

There is limited overnight security and Greenfield Community College and Green River
Festival LLC assumes no responsibility for damages, loss or theft to any individual’s
property.

6.25% MA State Sales Tax is the vendor’s responsibility. A copy of your valid MA sales
tax certificate is required with your application.
!
This event takes place rain or shine. Vendors should be prepared for any weather.
Tents must be weighted for wind resistance.
!
10 x 10 tents are the only tents that can be used without special permits. The
Greenfield Building Inspector’s office requires all tents, tarps and other fabric structures
to be non-combustible.
!
Electricity up to 300 watts is available on a limited basis for an additional $25 on a first
come basis. We encourage all vendors to find battery or solar light systems for your
booth. Craft vendors may not have generators. Apply early if you need electricity!
!
There is no running water available. Bring your own water bottles or containers. This is
also a trash in – trash out event. Please plan to take care of all your trash. Recycling
and composting will be handled on site. Food and beverage vendors will be nearby.

Camping on site is not allowed.

Vendor permits are required by the Town of Greenfield for all craft vendors. State
permits are required if your business is in a state other than Massachusetts. See
attached matrix for further information. Town of Greenfield permit inquiries should be
