More about us on www.ingredion.com and on www.Ihre-Zukunft-ist-Staerke.de For our European headquarter in Hamburg we are looking for a Senior Technologist, Bakery (m/f) Food Industry Primary function: Main responsibilities: Requirements: The Senior Application Technologist, Bakery is responsible for driving growth in the Bakery segment by assisting the Go-To-Market (GTM) team with customer activities, advancing the New Product Development (NPD) project pipeline, creating innovative and good-tasting bakery concepts, and helping to build expertise internally and credibility externally. • Development and commercialization of new innovative products and ingredient solutions for the Bakery segment by developing good tasting, innovative food concepts and relevant technical information that highlight the Unique Selling Points of our products. • Identify new product ideas within the EMEA region to target industrial bakers and bakery mix manufacturers. Keep up to date with latest development in the industrial bakery sector. • Manage progress of the NPD project pipeline. • Contribute to the continuous upgrade of our bakery facilities. • Develop and maintain recipe database with high quality recipes relevant to the bakery industry. • Support the training to the GTM team. • Be Member of the Global Expertise Team- exchange relevant information and trial learning with regional representatives. • Baker with additional degree in Food Science/Technology, Food Processing, or related discipline. Alternatively: Degree in Food Science/Technology, Food Processing, or related discipline with experience in the development of bakery products • Several years of professional experience • Strong command of bakery formulations, ingredients, interactions and processes. Proven ability to develop creative, good tasting bakery concepts. • At ease using standard bakery lab equipment and analytical tools • Good time management skills • Fluent in English (verbal & writing), an additional European language is a plus • Enjoys combining creative hands-on work with technical knowledge Are you interested?
