It is increasingly common for businesses in difficulty to seek advice from
insolvency practitioners prior to the appointment of a voluntary
administrator. We are seeing an increasing role for insolvency
practitioners in this important area, particularly in the SME market. Our
panel will canvass the key issues which arise when advising during the
crucial pre-administration phase. Topics include directors' duties, planning
for a deed of company arrangement proposal and considering the position
of employees.
