The company was founded in summer 2014 by Dr. Frieda Gerdes, Dr. Gerald Wiegand, Patricia Jaecklin, and Mark Munzinger. Hello Healthcare´s offer comprises all commercial aspects of corporate and product marketing, from approval, prizing and distribution to strategic and tactical marketing and reimbursement. Due to the long-­‐term business experience of its partners in the German healthcare market, Hello Healthcare has access to key healthcare institutions and decision makers. PARTNERS Dr. Frieda Gerdes has held leading positions in sales and marketing departments of life sciences and IVD companies, e.g. at Epigenomics, Agendia and Applied Biosystems (now Life Technologies) for many years. As founder and managing director of Gerdes Healthcare Communication UG she has been supporting diagnostics, medtec, pharma and service companies in strategic consultancy, PR, marketing communication, reimbursement, interim management in iv diagnostics, and training & education since 2011. Dr. Gerald Wiegand has been a managing director of Genomic Health in Germany for several years, dealing with the challenges the German healthcare system poses for innovative diagnostic companies. Beforehand he held several leading sales positions at Eli Lilly and Bristol-­‐Myers Squibb. As managing director of the laboratory association Akkreditierte Labore in der Medizin – ALM e.V., Dr. Wiegand is actively involved in healthcare politics. Patricia Jaecklin is a graduated designer and expert for creative strategy, corporate design, product campaigns, on-­‐ and offline marketing, editorial and publishing. For more than 10 years, she has developed profound creative solutions, on-­‐ and offline, focussing on companies in biotechnology, diagnostics and healthcare. Since 2008, she has been the joint owner and creative director of the marketing agency machmabunt in Berlin. Mark Munzinger is a business development web expert. For more than 10 years, he has been developing and executing online strategies to support achievement of company´s long-­‐term goals. His interdisciplinary know-­‐how in web development and multimedia enable him to efficiently plan and execute online marketing strategies for sustainable success. He is familiar with the challenges of introducing innovative products into the German market and building up new business fields. He is a co-­‐
founder of Eurofins Medigenomix GmbH, where he acted as managing director for 11 years. Among others, he has worked as consultant for Myriad Genetics, Skyline Diagnostics, and Personalis in the field of genome guided, personalized medicine. Dr. Dimo Dietrich has been developing and validating diagnostic biomarkers and companion diagnostics for many years. He was Head of technological research with Epigenomics in Berlin and currently heads the biomarker group of the Institute of Pathology at the University of Bonn. In addition, he is a consultant for companies, developing and validating diagnostic assays. He is also familiar with the regulatory and quality challenges of IVD in Europe and CLIA-­‐validated LDTs (Laboratory Developed Test) in the USA.
