Saturday, September 20, 2014:
 1st Annual Klamath Promise Graduation Walk 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Graduation Walk is a
door-to-door campaign that recovers students who were chronically absent the prior year, or have
not returned to school. The walk has a team of volunteers go to the homes of these students,
provide encouragement, and offer resources so the students return to school. Starting point is
Klamath Community College, Building 4, 7390 S 6th St, Klamath Falls, OR 97603. For more

 6th grade students and teachers attend the annual Klamath County Forestry Tour in the morning.
This activity is sponsored by the Oregon State University Extension Service to create an
awareness of the importance of forest resources to the economy and quality of life in our area.
Eight educational stations are staffed by experts from the U.S. Timberlands Services, Hoo Hoo
Club, U.S. Forest Service, Department of Fish and Wildlife, Soil Conservation Service, Oregon
Department of Forestry, Oregon State Extension Service, and the American Society of Foresters.
