Success in this examination will also allow candidates to meet the academic requirement for membership of the Institution at Technician grade (TIFireE). Level 3 Diploma in Fire Science and Fire Safety (VRQ) This qualification has been designed to meet the needs of fire professionals operating in, or preparing for, a range of roles at level 3 including Watch Managers or equivalent and Fire Safety professionals. In order to achieve the Diploma, Candidates will need to achieve the two mandatory units in Fire Science and Fire Safety and achieve two of the optional units.
