Role and Responsibilities: • Coordinate various planning projects including liaising with clients • Conduct urban planning related research, analysis and writing • Manage planning application, and similar, processes • Handle various project and proposal submission initiatives • Contribute to master planning and urban design related projects • Write articles and opinion pieces regarding planning issues in Hong Kong and other countries • Coordinate community and stakeholder engagement exercises, as needed Qualifications and Experience: • Master’s Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning or Regional Planning • Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or a related discipline • HKIP professional qualification (other equivalent qualifications may be considered) • 5 – 10 years of relevant town planning and project management experience • Experience with town planning projects in Hong Kong for both public and private sector clients • Familiar with the statutory planning process and visual impact assessments (VIAs) in Hong Kong • Familiar with master planning, urban design and architectural design processes • Excellent organisational and communication ability (experience with ISO 9001:2008 is a plus) • Able to work on multiple projects and initiatives both independently and as part of a team • Proficient in computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and related software is a plus • Fluent in English and Cantonese • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus For Cover Letter: • Please make sure your cover letter includes answers to the following questions: o Why did you choose to apply here? o How can you benefit from a multi-disciplinary work environment? o Where do you see yourself in five years? o What is unique about your professional skill set?
