CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, Location : Hong Kong Engineer II [Ref: CLPP-GBG-GED-COE-EII] We are looking for self-driven professionals to join the Generation Engineering Department of our Generation Business Group. The appointee will be responsible for continued development and refinement of engineering activities in our generation business. Major duties include:  Carry out engineering study and performance design, and prepare technical specification of plant equipment  Manage and direct multi-disciplinary work teams to carry out power plant engineering and outage activities and project execution  Assist plant staff in monitoring and improving plant equipment efficiencies. Identify and analyze performance improvement areas for the generating units  Assess service condition and performance of plant equipment. Review and update plant status review report  Assist in formulating medium / long-term investment strategies  Review engineering documentation, and draft technical and commercial contract specification Requirements:  A recognized university degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering discipline plus at least 3 years relevant working experience, or higher diploma/certificate plus at least 5 years working experience  Solid experience in engineering, maintenance, commissioning or installation of heavy mechanical equipment  Candidate with less relevant experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer  Previous exposures to power plant environment, contractor management and contracts development/management will be an advantage  A good team player with strong analytical skills and self-initiative  Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese The appointee will be required to work in the Power Stations located at Tuen Mun area.
