PARYUSHAN PROGRAMME 2014
This is to inform you that this year’s Paryushan festivities will commence from Saturday 23rd
August 2014 to Saturday 30th August 2014 at the Prayer Hall in Navnat Bhavan, General
Mathenge Drive, Nairobi. This year we are blessed with the presence of Dr. Harshadbhai
Sanghrajka, Deputy Chair of Institute of Jainology (IOJ) from London, UK. You are invited
to this most auspicious Jain religious period of forgiveness.

 Morning Swadhyay session will be held at Navnat Bhavan from 10.30 A.M. TO 12.00
noon.
 Both Swadhyay will be conducted by Dr. Harshadbhai Sanghrajka of Institute of
Jainology.
 Pratikraman
 Pratikraman will start at 6.30pm daily.

 Bhakti Bhavna and Lectures (23rd August 2014 to 29th August 2014)
 Musical Bhakti Bhavna will start at 7.45 p.m. to 8.15 p.m.

Jain discourses by Dr. Harshadbhai Sanghrajka of Institute of Jainology from 8.15
p.m. to 9.30 p.m. daily.
 Prabhavna
 Anyone wishing to give Prabhavna should give their names to :- Kiritbhai Sanghrajka (M. 0733-607392) or
- Divyaben Tejani (M. 0722-769763) or
- Bharatbhai Parekh (M. 0722-791687).

The Prabhavna can be for Pratikraman, or for Swadhyay or for Lectures or for all
events.
 Tapasya and Uchhavni


The Final list of Uchhavni will be read out at 6.00 pm before the start of the
Samvatsari Pratikraman on 30th August 2014.

Tapsvis’ Sanman will be from 8.15pm on 30th August 2014.
 SWAMI VATSALYA JAMAN 2013
 The Swami Vatsalya Jaman will be on Sunday, 7th September at 12.30 pm onwards
at Navnat Bhavan.
