JUDGE
Dennis Wood
Mr. Tri-State Leather 2013

The last year has marked a high point in an almost 10 year Leather journey for
Dennis, as he has been honored to serve as Mr. Tri-State Leather 2013, placed
in the top 20 at IML and brought his professional and leather lives together
by leading a discussion at Kink U-Cincinnati. Dennis can be found in vest and
boots on the weekends visiting the communities of the Tri-State area with his
mantra of Build-Develop-Celebrate. Passionate about educating, challenging perceptions, and local charities, Dennis challenges members of the kink
community to explore leather culture, traditions and sexual experiences while
partnering with local clubs and organizations to raise money for worthy causes such as Caracole of Cincinnati, Step-Up of Indianapolis, Cookies for Love of
Louisville, the Central Kentucky No-Kill Animal Shelter and the PFLAG Scholarship Fund. In his free time Dennis enjoys such activities as naked camping,
boating, beaches, traveling and exploring life with his best friend and partner
of 8 years, Jeff, and their amazing leather family.
JUDGE
Gregory Slaven
Mr. 501 Eagle Leather 2014

Gregory Slaven is from the Indianapolis, Indiana and is the current Mr. 501
Eagle Leather 2014 and had competed this year at IML.He is the International Mr. Olympus Leather for 2012 from his previous title of being Mr. Great
Lakes Olympus Leather for 2011. His club and organizational memberships
include, member of the ACLU, Supporting Member of the National Coalition
for Sexual Freedom, National Leather Association being the chair for Indiana
under the NLA International – Domestic Violence Project, and was the past
Junior Director of MAsT (Master And slaves Together) of Indianapolis. Gregory Slaven is a Dominant Gay Leatherman, that enjoys a number of fetishes
to include mummification, cathartic flogging, bondage, electro, hot wax, and
fisting to just name a few. He is active in the BDSM / Kink Community with a
big heart that is open and always approachable. He is welcoming and encouraging to others that are seeking or asking for assistance in being part of or
are trying to find their own path in Our Community.
JUDGE
Jeff Tucker
International Mister Leather 1994

Jeff has been participating in BDSM and the D/s lifestyle for 30 plus years.
He relocated to Northern New Jersey from San Jose, CA 3 years ago with
his husband/partner of 25 years. They are also in a triad that they loving
refer to as their NJ house-warming gift. He’s active in the leather community
from Connecticut to Washington DC and regular trips to Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Competing as Mr. San Jose Leather 1993 he became International Mr. Leather
in 1994. As IML, Jeff created “Better Together” a program honoring diversity and asked that men and women stand united in our causes and quest of
equality. He was a cofounder of the Santa Clara County Leather Association
and the creator of “SM Tasting” an educational program for BDSM, and D/s
interests for which he was also a workshop presenter. Jeff is a founder and
charter member of The Brotherhood, a gay men’s BDSM education and play
group, subsequently he and his partners have formed a similar group “In
Gear” serving the NYC Metro area. Jeff believes that the highest values of a
person are authenticity and integrity.
JUDGE
Sir Ben Feathers
Mr. Cleveland Leather 2014

Sir Ben has been an active member in the leather community for 12 years. He
lives in Cleveland, Ohio with his pup mjölnir. They are owners and leaders of
the local pup group The PAAC ( Puppys Against Animal Cruelty). They also
own and produce Cleveland Puppy, to be held Feb. 28, 2015 and Great Lakes
pup and Trainer, to be held Oct. 1-4, 2015 at GLLA weekend in Indianapolis,
IN. Sir Ben sits on the CLAW planning committee and is the head coordinator
of the pup events at CLAW. He is very active in the pup and leather communities, holding events and teaching people about pups and the community
abroad.
JUDGE
Rod McCoy
Pledge Master of the ONYX Mid-Atlantic Chapter

A native New Yorker, Rod’s Leather journey began January of 1998 on a
weekend visit to Washington, DC, he was introduced to Mid-Atlantic Leather
Weekend and ONYX, the national Leather fraternity for gay and bisexual Men
of Color.

After relocating to DC, Rod joined ONYX, and began work of co-founding
the ONYX Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Rod was elected President of the ONYX
Mid-Atlantic Chapter in 2007; he currently serves as the chapter’s Pledge
Master. Rod has also moderated and presented for a variety of programs and
events, including DC Leather Pride; Black Rose; the Master/slave Conference;
Kink U; Detroit Leather Expo; and BlackOut, ONYX’s annual run. Rod earned
the Leatherman of Color title in 2011; his platform during his title year was
“Embracing Difference and Diversity.” Rod graduated from the Master Taino
Training Academy Masters’ Training in 2008, and his writing has been featured
on Leatherati.com. He has previously served as a judge for the 2012 Leatherman of Color contest, the 2013 Mr. Maryland Leather contest, and the 2014
Twin Cities Leather contest. Rod is most proud of winning the Pantheon of
Leather Northeast Regional Award for 2014. His kink fetishes include spanking, ass play, and fisting.
JUDGE
Miss Tammy
Great Lakes Master 2004

Ms Tammy began exploring facets of the BDSM/Leather/Fetish Lifestyle more
than a decade ago and proudly shares the title of Great Lakes Master/slave
2004 with her husband john. She has served as a judge for numerous leather
contests in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and California. Keeping with her love of
bears, she was the first woman to be become a full member of the Kentucky
Bourbon Bears. In 2012 she was awarded the Pantheon of Leather Community
Choice (Woman) Award and the Connell-Stanley Leatherperson of the Year for
Kentucky. She was honored to serve as a co-emcee for the The Imperial Court
of Kentucky’s 32 Coronation and received the ICK’s Larry Stanley Leather
Community Service Award.

Her greatest interest lies in health education and safety promotion for the
community. She teaches classes that promote a better understanding of
physical/emotional health and offers demonstrations to encourage safer play
in various aspects of the BDSM/Leather/Fetish.She serves as the Director of
Health and Hospitality for the Great Lakes Leather Alliance and strives to be
a resource for accurate health education while providing support for those
facing health issues. She has been a presenter for Leather Leadership Conference, Derby City Fetish Ball, Great Lakes Leather Weekend, Bluegrass Leather
Pride Weekend, OhioSMART, Northwest Leather Celebration, Atlanta’s Sash
Bash and the Titans of the Midwest’s Kink U.
JUDGE
Master Bear
Great Lakes Mr. Olympus Leather 2014

Master Bear is a 53 year old Pagan, native to Texas and in the “Community”
since he was 18. 7 years ago, he relocated to Chicago, with his partner of 17
years, where his true leather journey began. In addition to his husband, he
also has a collared boy by his side.

He’s certified in HIV testing and Counseling, and he educates on the subject
every chance he gets. Master Bear has been seen talking to college students,
at Park Forest College, The Center on Halsted; testing in bath houses, and is
trying his best to eradicate the stigma still attached to HIV.

Master Bear is the recipient of the Great Lakes Regional Leather Pantheon
Award 2012. He currently holds the title of Great Lakes Mr Olympus Leather
2014. He has also holds the leather titles of Illinois LeatherSir 2009 and Great
Lakes LeatherSIR 2010.

Together, with his partner, they co-produce Illinois Leather N Fetish Pride
Weekend. And, are co-founders of “PozPets,” a non-profit that cares for the
pets of people with HIV.

Finally, he has also been in Mama Sandy Reinhardt’s Family in Leather since
2009. 1st, as her Devoted Sir, now as Mama’s Seven Eleven.
TALLYMASTER
Sam Clemmons
Mr. Bluegrass Leather 2011

Sam Clemons, Mr. Bluegrass Leather 2011 and Producer of the Mr. Bluegrass
Leather Contest has been a community activist as a member of the Imperial
Court System as Emperor 12 of Cincinnati, and currently as a member of the
College of Monarchs of the Imperial Court of Kentucky. His leather journey
began in 1997 as Mr. Queen City Leather and has continued to International
Mr. Leather 34 where he was a Top 20 finalist. As Mr. Bluegrass Leather, he
has worked with the Kentucky Bourbon Bears, as Secretary of Trident International Lexington, the Imperial Court of Kentucky to help raise funds for
various charitable organizations. Having been HIV+ for over 29 years, he continues to fight the stigma HIV has on his community and those around him. He
is a member of the Leather Archives & Museum, National Coalition for Sexual
Freedom, and a strong advocate for Mr. Friendly. Ask him about Mr. Friendly
– he challenges you to.
DEN DADDY
boy Paul
International Leather boy 2014

boy Paul has been in the Leather community since 2004. He has been active
with the Louisville Fringe club and working with the pansexual community.
boy Paul has also started the Indiana boys of Leather club.

boy Paul does a lot of volunteer work in the community. Working with Relay
for life, Chemo Buddies, Matthew 25 AIDS service and Humane Society. He
feels like this makes a great statement to everyone, that it only takes one
person to make a change in the world and it is important to give back to the
community.

boy Paul is the current International Leather boy and is proud to be a
representative of this community. boy Paul has been trained in the “Old
Guard” ways and always enjoys training, mentoring and educating new boys
in the community.

Always remember, it is not who we think we are that hold us back, it is who
we think we are not.
JUDGES’ BOY
boy jonathan

Residing in the beautiful city of Louisville, Kentucky by the way of Central
Kentucky where he began his BDSM and leather journey. boy johnathan is
honored to be back at Mr. Tri-State Leather/Rubber serving as judge’s boy.
As an active member in both the Louisville and Lexington kink communities,
he regularly attends and participates with GLLA, Mr. Bluegrass Leather,
Bluegrass Leather Pride, the Louisville Munch group and Louisville Leather
and Kink.

With his passions residing in both the leather and bear communities, he
has also served as officer and member of Kentucky Bourbon Bears. He
has served as judges’ boy for the Mr. Crossings Leather 2012, Mr. Tri-State
Leather/Rubber 2013 and as den boy for the past 3 years with GLLA. He is a
founding board member for Mr. Friendly - Team Louisville and a member of
Trident International and Derby City Bears.

boy johnathan enjoys spending his free time with his leather family and
friends or curled up on the couch with a good book. Other past times that
he enjoys are fine bourbons, cigars, cooking, and serving his community.
boy johnathan also enjoy being tied up and used. He is an avid reader of
gay erotica, a bit of a pain junkie and a tattoo enthusiast. He is always on the
look out to learn more.... so don’t be scared, he doesn’t bite...much..

As a boy/cub/pup, his ultimate goal is to support his community and leather
family through service and personal growth.
INSTRUCTOR
Matt Cowen
Mr. Cincinnati Leather 2014

Matt Cowen is still a fledgling in the Leather community, eagerly learning
and experiencing as he continues down the path he started in 2013. While
a native of the Cincinnati area, his immersion into the Leather community
started a mere 2 years ago. Currently Matt holds the 2014 Mr. Cincinnati
Leather Title. When not out meeting new people, learning about their
experiences and sharing his own, he spends his time working in retail
management and going to school. Matt is currently enrolled at Cincinnati
State in the Interpreter Training Program and reaching his final semesters.
Recently he has started attempting to lessen the space between the Deaf
and the Hearing within the Leather Community.
INSTRUCTOR
Bootblack Zach
International Leather boy 2014

For Bootblack Zach, leather culture and the BDSM lifestyle have been
part of his sexuality since he came out as Gay, as they are all parts of his
complete person. From the first bar night he quietly shuffled into, his
first leather harness clad against his chest, he was in love. It was not long
before Zach started looking for his place among the community. He witnessed his first Bootblacking one night at a fund-raiser in Lexington at the
Chair of IMsBB 2013 Bella. After trying to find a teacher in the area, Bella
decided to take Zach on has her “Little monster” and learned the tricks of
the trade and grew in his identity as a leathermen and a bootblack. Blacking all over the region has let Zach find many brothers in Trident Columbus, The Falcons of Indianapolis, and Chicago Hellfire Club of which Zach
is a member. He is also a founding member of of Ruff Pups CNKY and a
member of The Titans of the Midwest. Zach is currently mentoring Partner,
Pup Scuff, in the craft of bootblacking and could not be more proud of his
ability and respect for the trade.
By day, Zach works in IT at a local hospital (another bear in the IT field, can
you believe it?), where he co-chairs the LGBTA employee resource group.
By Night he can be found bootblacking around the region in his Boots and
vest, waiting for the simple of enjoyment of sitting at crotch level, caring
for your leather, and listening to your stories.

Daddy Jay
2013 Bluegrass Leatherpride Sir

Daddy Jay has been actively involved in the BDSM/Leather community
since he discovered it in Louisville about 3 1/2 years ago. He holds the
title of 2013 Bluegrass Leatherpride Sir. A grassroots community builder,
he was instrumental in creating 4 advocacy and education groups for the
LGBT community in North Carolina, and now in Louisville as formerAssistant Director of Fringe Elements, Inc he is doing the same for the Leather/
kink world of Louisville. He is an avid lover of animals: dogs, cats...and of
course pigs, pups, cubs, otters, and bears.
