Appearance: Brownish oil Characteristics of the Product Charge : Anionic Active matter: %70 ± 2 pH (1: 10): 7,0 ± 0,5 Does not contain any organic halogen compounds and does not make any contribution to the AOX content of the effluent . Does not contain formaldehyde or APEO Technical Description Water emulsions of SOSA SB are very stable to acidity as well as to chrome , however they are not stable to electolytes. Since SOSA SB fatliquor in depth, it penetrates good in the leather, giving soft and full hand. The surface feel is smooth but not greasy light fastness and heat resistance of the leather fatliquored with SOSA SB are acceptable Quantities Suggest vegetable tanned leather: 1 – 3 % chrome tanned leather : 1 – 2 % The leathers have a good dyeing ability and the exhaustion in the fatliquoring process is optimum . Residual baths have a low COD for prepare the emulsion. Add 3 – 4 parts of water at 55 – 60 ˚C to part of SOSA SB. In these conditions a stable emulsion is formed. Packing: PE drums 130 kg Storage: The product must be stored at temperatures between 0 ˚C to +45 ˚C The product clouds out of this temperature range. If affected by frost the product should be heated to 20 – 25 ˚C and the contens of the drum or tank should be stirred thoroughly or subjected to circulation Pumping: In these conditions the product is stable for 12 months .
