ABSTRACT
Modern technologies continuously need new materials with special combination of
properties. We need such a material which could be environmental friendly, cost effective,
easy forming, easy to storage for long duration, less time consuming with desirable
properties. Polymers and nanotechnology have increased the tremendous applications, for
obtaining these desirable materials. Traditionally we are using metallic nanoparticles in
polymer matrix for finding desirable properties. But what will happen if we replace these
metallic nanoparticles with natural polymer nanoparticles? In this paper I am going to
introduce a new semi natural polymer (Carboxymethyl guar gum) nanoparticle and its recent
applications & future scope in polymer technology. Biodegradability, easy to synthesize,
good stabilizing and reducing agent and good film forming property can make these
nanoparticles a new ray for replacing toxic chemicals and costly metal nanoparticles by
environmental friendly polymers.
