28. Schools that fail to honour their fixtures, particularly against a
rural school, will in addition to forfeiting the points, be required to pay the travelling expenses incurred by the team, as
well as match fee. Such schools will also face further disciplinary actions.
29. The winning school is responsible for engraving and the safekeeping of the Trophy for one year, after which it is returned
to the Organizing Body for Competition. If the trophy is damaged or stolen, the School is responsible for its replacement.
The Organizing Body has the power to ask the winning
school to return the Trophy before one year is completed.
30. At the end of the preliminary rounds, where two teams have
equal points, the team with the better goal average will go
through.
SEMI FINALS AND FINALS
31. In the event of a draw, after regular time, during the semifinals and the final rounds, extra time and penalty kicks (if
necessary) will determine the winner.
KNOCK OUT COMPETITION
32. The first two (2) teams in each Zone at the end of the league
matches will enter the knock-out competition.
33. If for any reason a school withdraws from the competition, all
matches already decided shall be cancelled.
34. There will be NO REFUND OF FEES after the fixtures have
been issued, irrespective of the way in which a team ceases
participation.
35. All legitimate protests should be addressed in writing to the
Chairman of the JISA Sports Committee.

23. Failure to comply with the rules in any way will result in disqualification.

26. Complaints of misconduct lodged against players, spectators,
and / or super visors representing your school, may cause
your team to lose points and/or may lead to disqualification
from the competition.
27. Teams seeking postponement of their fixtures must contact
the Chairman of the Sports Committee not less than fortyeight (48) hours of that match or forfeit the points. NOTE:
No two teams are allowed to make their own arrangements
for postponements. The Organizing Body reserves the decision to reject all notices of postponement.

25. When a player is sent off, he automatically misses the next
match. No substitute is allowed when a player is sent off by
the referee. (All suspensions are handled by J.I.S.A.). Any
registered player of a team who is found guilty of abusing the
referee, linesmen or opposing school—before, during or after
a match, will face the Disciplinary Committee. It, therefore,
follows that, if a registered player who did not participate in a
particular match, was reported for abusing officials in relationship to a particular match, he will be tried by the Disciplinary
Committee. Any school official who abuses the referee and
linesmen, is subject to questioning by the Executive Committee.

11. Home teams are named first and must provide a number five
(5) (under 19) match ball.

12. Substitution: Three players (one of which must be the Goalkeeper) will be allowed at any time during any one match.
13. Unregistered players are not allowed to represent their
school. Schools will lose points.
14. The appointment of referees for all matches rest with the
J.F.F. in accordance with J.I.S.A. The referee is in full control of the game and his decision is FINAL. School officials
are not allowed to enter the field of play unless they are
called by the referee – the school they represent can be suspended.
15. Referees are requested by J.I.S.A. to send off and report
players:
a) if not properly attired
 name(s) taken
 misses next match (minimum charge)
b) for rough play
 name(s) taken
 misses two matches (charge)
c) for fighting
 name(s) taken
 four weeks suspension (charge)
d) for indecent language
 name(s) taken
 player expelled
16. Suspension from football means automatic suspension from
all other sports organized by J.I.S.A.
17. If a player represents his school in this competition while on a
“CHARGE “; such a school will be asked to withdraw from the
competition.
18. If a player is also playing in another competition controlled by
J.F.F. or its other affiliates, and is “CHARGED”; such a
player automatically becomes “CHARGED” in this competition and has to serve his penalty before he can continue in

5. Any team arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes late will forfeit the points.
6. Where there is a clash with the same colour jerseys, the
home team will be required to change.
7. No team shall be able to participate in any game with less
than seven (7) players. Schools seeking postponement in
their fixtures must give the Organizing Secretary at least forty
-eight (48) hours notice, prior to the start of the match, or forfeit the points.
Sports masters/coaches are not allowed to make postponements with their counterparts. Any school failing to comply
with this rule shall be asked by the Association to pay the expenses incurred by their opponents, the referee and the
linesmen.
Schools scratching two successive fixtures in any one season
will have their fixtures cancelled. The organizing body has
the power to reject all notices of postponement.
8. All teams must be accompanied to the match by either the
sports master, coach or another teacher so as to help in
maintaining good discipline. If it so happens that there is an
incident at the match, the sports masters and coaches are
responsible for the safety of the referee, linesmen and players.
9. Teams must parade on the field of play ten (10) minutes before the start of each match for the proper identification of
each player. The sports master/coach for that match must
submit at that time, the signed match card with the names of
the team member and the corresponding ID cards.
10. Teams that are not properly attired will not be allowed to play
and will automatically lose the points for that match. Jerseys
must be of the same colour and have defined numerals on
the back.

3. If a player is representing a school in this competition, and he
is transferred to another School during the competition, he
cannot represent his new school in the competition for the
rest of the Season. He is also not qualified to continue representing his old school in the competition.
4. Matches will be of eighty (80) minutes duration with a five (5)
minute break at half time. Teams are asked to be punctual
for their matches in order to complete the last game before
nightfall.
