IBS01 and IBS02 certificate for all participants. 4 Nov (PJ) Learn how to design precast concrete components with this precast concrete design workshop. It covers the design methods of both framed and wall systems, the connections and production methods. IBS03 certificate for all participants. 5-6 Nov (PJ) Introduction to precast concrete technology and construction. A must for all parties involved in IBS projects for better understanding of IBS project planning & execution. Including the Dos and Don’tsand detailing demos using Sketchup. Also includes steps in estimating design using the JKR/CIDB standard component tables. Incorporating the basics of precast design. CIDB Malaysia’s IBS04 certificate for all participants. A generic syllabus for 2-d drafting for professionals and students who require CAD fundamentals as well as new methods & basic Building Information Modelling (BIM) input. Attendance certificate for all participants. CAD: Fundamentals certificate for those who passed the assessment. Note: Please bring your own laptop. Eurocode 2 (EC2) has replaced BS8110 in 2010 but it is still relatively very new in Malaysia. This course will provide basic knowledge in reinforced concrete design to Eurocode 2 (EC2) including its benefits. It will focus on the contents of EC2, design, durability and detailing requirements as well as design steps. Hands-on exercise will also be included. Attendance certificate for all participants. Learn how to do more with your Microsoft Excel (Excel) spreadsheet software by attending this short course. It covers Excel short cuts and formulas as well as various tips and tricks to improve your work productivity. After the successful completion of this course, participant will be able to utilise more of the Excel to simplify and streamline their tasks.
