Especially, presentation of research outcome as well as information exchange among researchers of Asian countries, where large biomass resources are found, are of importance. Following the successful 1st Asian Conference on Biomass Science in Jan., 2014 in Kochi, the Biomass Division, Japan Institute of Energy, organizes the 2nd Asian Conference on Biomass Science to discuss Asian biomass academically. The papers will be published in the special issue of J. Jpn. Inst. Energy after review. Students, researchers, and those who are interested in Asian countries are invited to join.
