John Edwards, Senior Vice President, WTPS-Strategic Alliances
I am pleased to announce that John Edwards has been promoted to Senior
Vice President, KWX and Strategic Alliances. He will be dedicated to working
with KW Express (Kinder Morgan/Watco joint venture). John will lead and be
responsible for the growth initiatives of Watco and expanding our alliances
with Kinder Morgan. In addition, he will continue to support Watco Leadership
in other strategic growth areas including Business Development. In this role,
John will office out of the Kinder Morgan Headquarters in Houston, Texas.
John began his Watco career as General Manager of the Glendale, Ariz., facility
in December of 2003. He recently served as part of the Business Development
Team focusing on opportunities within the Crude by Rail initiative. Prior to joining Watco, John worked in the high technology industry for more than 20 years
with Ernst & Young, SAP and Oracle Corporation, holding various individual
contributor and management positions.
John and his wife Cary have been married 34 years and they have two daughters: Emma and Cassandra. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his
family, volunteering and an occasional round of golf.
