With warm greetings, Yours comradely, (HARSHAVARDHAN MADABHUSHI) GENERAL SECRETARY ======================================================== Text of AISBOF Circular No.92 Dated: 14/08/2014 ALL AFFILIATES/MEMBERS: LEAVE FARE CONCESSION FOREIGN TRAVEL ENROUTE TO LFC MADRAS HIGH COURT EXTENDS STAY UPTO 03.09.2014 Our members are aware that the Federation filed a writ petition in the Chennai High Court challenging the communication issued by the IBA and the SBI withdrawing the facility of visiting foreign countries enroute LFC/HTC by our Officers. The Hon’ble High Court of Madras was pleased to issue a stay on the operation of this communication issued by the Bank and allowed the Officers to avail the facility of visiting foreign countries enroute their LFC/HTC. pg. 1 2. The writ petition came up for hearing on the 6th August, 2014 and the case has been posted on 3rd September, 2014. Hence, the interim stay has been extended till then and consequently the facility of foreign travel continues pending final orders of the High Court. Copy of the Court Order is enclosed. 3.
