Authorizations: 14-09-01 Purpose: To allow Providers to submit Authorization requests past 10/1/2014. Change: LEO Contracts and Fee Schedules that ended 9/30/2014 were extended to 9/30/2016 to avoid interruption to services when requesting authorizations. This change was deployed on September 8, 2014. Letters: 14-09-01 Purpose: To allow Provider Clinicians to be able to view any missed appointment letters that LifeWays Physicians Unit have sent to Consumers. Change: Provider Clinicians can view Consumer Missed appointment letters sent by LifeWays Physicians Unit by Home page > Letters Menu > Search by Consumer. This change was deployed on September 8, 2014. Staff Directory: 14-09-01 Purpose: To create permissions relevant to Self Determination Provider functions. Change: A new Self Determination Clinical Provider Group has been added to LEO to make sure all necessary permissions are available to the Self Determination Provider when working within the LEO program. These functions include Add/Change Treatment Plan, Add/Change Admissions and Assignments and the option to add a Death Report when needed. This change was deployed on September 8, 2014. Claim Submission: 14-09-01 Purpose: To allow Providers to submit claims for Inactive staff/users in LEO. Change: Providers now have the ability to submit claims that were performed and signed by the staff while they were still an active staff with the Provider agency for up to 90 days after their user id is made inactive in the LEO system. This change was made due to Providers not able to bill for legitimate services performed and signed by the staff before leaving. This new change does not allow another staff to sign the document that was unsigned and performed by the expired/inactive staff. This change was deployed on September 8, 2014. Medical Chart: 14-09-01 Purpose: To allow search for Medications to include both brand name and generic name drugs. Change: PCE Systems has changed the drug search function, previously this search only returned a list of drugs that matched the name the user entered. The search has been modified to now return a list of drugs that have the same name along with all of the drugs that match the brand names, generic names and/or contain the same active ingredients. This change was deployed on September 1, 2014. (Examples of the Modified version are attached below.)
