Through a recent donation, Eaton equipped the 1,500 square-foot lab at the University, inspired by Eaton’s highly successful Power Systems Experience Center in Warrendale, Pa. The objective of the primer is to educate the parties in the collaboration by identifying strategies for successful collaboration. The participants from each party and their motivations will be discussed so as to set the expectations for the modes of interaction. The regulatory issues and financial environment at this nexus as well as the metrics used to determine success from the perspective of each of the participants will be discussed. Project contributors will discuss the status of a "primer" document in preparation for use to the general UIDP membership.
