Tenders are invited for procurement of stores mentioned in Schedule of Requirements enclosed. You are requested to drop your offer/quotation
duly sealed and signed in the Tender box provided in this office. The tender box will be closed at 14.50 Hrs. and opened at 15.00 Hrs. on
31-07-2014.
The attention of tenderers is drawn to the fact that they should clearly indicate in their quotations, the country of Origin, Make/Brand name etc. of
the stores offered by them without which their quotations are liable to be ignored. Tenderers should only quote for the UNIT mentioned against
each tender.
Separate Quotations should be submitted for each item. Firm should submit a copy of valid ITCC alongwith the quotation. The quotation should be
duly endorsed with the Sales Tax Registration No.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TENDER :
1.
Delivery terms : Free at destination.
2.
Delivery period : Ex Stock.
3.
Mode of dispatch : By Road.
4.
Payment terms : 100% payment against receipt and acceptance.
5.
This contract will be governed by the IRS Terms and Conditions with latest amendments.
6.
Tenderers should enclose the details of past performance alongwith their offer.
7.
If the firm is registered with W.Rly. or C.Rly. then they should invariably quote the Registration no. on the offer.
8.
If all or most firms quote equal rates and cartel formation is suspected, Railway reserves the right to place order on one or more firms with
exclusion of the same without assigning any reason thereof.
9.
Tenderers must quote for the full tendered quantity. Offers received for part quantity will be summararily ignored.
10. Tenderers must quote minimum delivery period for supply of the stores as this purchase is on urgency basis. Longer delivery period will not be
acceptable.
11. Tenderers should submit their offers with a validity of minimum 60 days. Offers valid for less than 60 days will be summararily ignored.
12. The despatch/delivery details against all the purchase orders should be advised to the Purchase Officer concerned invariably.

(15)OFFER RECEIVED WITH ANY TERMS & CONDITIONS RELATED WITH PAYMENT OTHER THAN NORMAL PAYMENT CONDITION WILL NOT
BE CONSIDER AND WILL BE IGNORED STRAIGHTAWAY.(16) Offer's of approved sources will only be considered for those items which are
required to be procured from valid approved sources only.
NOTE : In near future all tenders will be invited through e-tendering. Vendors are requested to obtain Class III Digital
Signature Certificate from certifying agency nominated by Govt. of India and get themselves registered on the Indian
Railway E-procurement portal (http://www.ireps.gov.in)
