a network for those interested in the a network for those interested in the relationship between science and Christian faith BRISTOL LOCAL GROUP Science Education – a most Christian calling Dr Eric Albone MBE Friday 14th March 2014, 7.30pm, Alma Church Hall, 29 Alma Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2ES Appointed MBE in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to education, Dr Eric Albone is co-founder and Director of the Clifton Scientific Trust, a charity which engages young people with science and its application. Drawing on his work in a variety of schools in England and Japan, Dr Albone will share his philosophy that science is a source of wonder, education a source of wholeness, and the religious and the secular are one world. Science schoolteachers and university lecturers alike will hear new ideas and innovative approaches which they can apply in their own teaching.
