Appointed MBE in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to
education, Dr Eric Albone is co-founder and Director of the Clifton Scientific
Trust, a charity which engages young people with science and its application.
Drawing on his work in a variety of schools in England and Japan, Dr Albone
will share his philosophy that science is a source of wonder, education a
source of wholeness, and the religious and the secular are one world.
Science schoolteachers and university lecturers alike will hear new ideas and
innovative approaches which they can apply in their own teaching.
