Approach Benefits
Why is this a good way to go?

Speed of Data Entry and Report Preparation


Data Centralization


Easily review current and past jobs, and access all details associated with them. Lookup
instances of heat numbers and consumable usage, welder information, etc.
Data Integrity


Control who can view or change the data contained within the system.
Auditability


All data entered is available to everyone that requires it, whenever they need.
Security


The system is designed to make data entry and report preparation as fast and efficient as
possible.
The system controls how data is entered, ensuring that details match up. For example, it
validates that material specifications match the item type, material, mill form and size values
entered. This drastically reduces the possibility of human error, preventing users incorrectly
recording data entered into the system.
Customizable

The Reference Data section lets you control the how the data integrity works – you can enter in
your own lists of materials, items, specifications, item sizes etc. and control how they interact.
