TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Lil Big South Date: January 17, 18, 19th (3 day) Location: All play, all divisions will be in Hall B of the Georgia World Congress Center at 285 Andrew Young Int’l Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30313 Not Allowed 1. Schedule: The complete tournament schedule along with up to the minute results will be available on SportWrench. The Schedule will go live by the Wednesday before the event. Basic Format: Wave play on the first day followed by wave play on the second day. Start time for a team on days 2 and 3 will depend on how the team finishes the day before. DO NOT assume you play in the same wave on the second day as you did on first. Depending on the size of the field, a play-in match or cross-over match may be required in the evening of the second day. Monday will be single elimination brackets. Each team will play in approximately 7 matches. All teams should be prepared to play at 8:00am on Day 1 until the time a final schedule has been released. Start Times: The am wave will begin at 8:00 am each morning followed by a 3:00 pm start time for the afternoon wave. Monday’s bracket play will begin at 8:00 am. Most of Monday’s final matches will be scheduled for a 3:00pm start time. Please make the appropriate travel plans to be able to play through the entire day on Monday even if the matches run late. Estimated Wave Assignments: AM: 18’s, 17O, 16O, 15 O, 14O, 13's & 12's PM: 17C, 16C, 15 C, 14 C & 11’s Tie Breaking Procedure: No tie-breaking games will be played. All two-way ties in a pool will be broken by the head-to-head results. If more than two teams are tied, the tie will be decided by the following criteria, in order as necessary: set percentage, point percentage, coin toss.
