


Morning tea and breakfast. Rafting down camp to Rishikesh.

09 OCTOBER 2014 Its Bungy Time along with Giant Swing & Flying Fox
After breakfast Rishikesh sightseeing or Bungy jumping/Giant Swing/Flying Fox(at
extra cost as per the rates mentioned along with cost of the trip below). with packed
lunch.

Departure for Delhi
 Early morning ( 4:30 Am ) Departure by 14318 (DDN-INDB) (0745 Hrs) with
packed breakfast. Arrival at NZM by 1315 Hrs.
 Catch 12910 (BDTS-Garib Rath) by 1540 Hrs (3rd AC).

WHAT TO CARRY :
Adequate pairs of regular clothes, shorts, sport shoes, socks, towel, napkin, floaters,
water bottle, torch (with extra batteries), cap, sunglasses, any mosquito repellent, note
pad, pen, toiletries, other personal sanitary requisites, foldable cloth bag for used clothes,
plastic bag for used / wet footwear. All these may be packed in a trolley bag & one
shoulder bag which is easy to carry. Binoculars and camera(with extra batteries) to be
brought at your own risk. Students are advised to bring a normal digital camera to be able
to take part in the Photography competition as announced by school, though it is
not compulsory. IMPORTANT - Avoid carrying too much of luggage as students will have
to carry and manage their own baggage. Please tag the luggage with name and contact
details.

Food items, Mobile Phone, any electronic gadgets (like i-pods, transistors, tape recorders,
videogames, walkman) plastic or disposable items, playing equipments, ornaments and

Deposit medicines (if any) with a written prescription in an envelope to the grade tutor

Photography Competition

Theme: Patterns in Nature
Judging Criteria:
1. Sharpness of Image 20 points
2. Light and Shade creating Drama 20 points
3. Composition 20 points
4. Play of Colours 20 points
5. Relevance to the theme 20 points
Rules:
1.
Each student can submit maximum two photos.
2.
Photographs to be submitted in 10 x 12 size (Matt finish).
3.
To submit each photograph with a tag line relevant to the
theme and reflection on “why you chose the photo”.
Photographs will be judged by Visual Arts teacher of NISV
Prize: The winner will receive a rebate of upto Rs.4000/- of the tour cost.
**Workshop on Photography will be conducted in school working hours prior to the trip.

I agree to pay the trip charges i.e. Rs. 12,800=00 plus cost of Bungee Jumping/Giant Swing/Flying Fox(optional as per the rates mentioned in
detailed Itinerary sent on email) by cheque issued in favour of “NERL”.

Medical and Personal Accident Insurance of Rs. 1,00,000=00 has been taken by the tour operator.
7.
I agree that NISV, NISV board and tour operator can not accept responsibility for accidents either at the place of activity or en route.
8.
I assume all liability for the conduct of my child.
9.
Any terms and conditions relating to the organising, managing, operating and logistics etc. of the said tour is the sole responsibility of the tour
organizer and school is only the facilitator.
10.
I understand that any loss of valuables in cash or kind during the trip either in the custody of teacher or student will be sole responsibility of
parents.
Force Majeure : The tour organizer and the school reserve the right to determine the quantum of
refund payable in case of cancellation or amendment of the proposed trip due to Force Majeure or
Vis Majeure. Such refund would be based on various factors like the number of participants, the
cancellation policies of suppliers like hoteliers, rail authority / coach operators, etc. and the
decision of the tour organizer and the school on the quantum of refund shall be final.
