The Brooklyn Hepatology Symposium will provide
comprehensive review of current management, evolving
strategies and cutting edge research in the treatment of liver
disease.
Registration fees include attendance at the course,
a copy of the syllabus, and meals.
The 2014 Brooklyn Hepatology Symposium will accept abstracts,
including case reports for the Scientific Poster Session, through
October 25, 1014. Submissions will be reviewed by the Abstract
Review Committee. Submissions in all areas of gastroenterology
and hepatology will be reviewed; however, abstracts/case reports
pertaining to hepatology and biliary systems will be preferred.

The authors’ names should appear in the order in which they
were entered on the submission site, with the presenting author’s
name bolded. Please do not enter information, such as author’s
names, contact informati on or abstract titles in all capitalized
letters. Capitalize only where necessary.
The second page should include the body of the abstract. The
abstract must be organized as follows:

• conclusions
The total word count for the abstract should not be above 450.
Abstracts exceeding the 450 word limit will be excluded from
review. Please make sure that your abstract is complete prior to
submitting it.
Acceptance of Abstracts
A confirmation email will be sent to the submitter once the
submission is complete.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Abstract Review Committee
and the highest ranking abstracts will be selected for poster
presentation. Submitters will be notified of acceptance status and
form of presentation by November 1, 2014. Three awards will be
given during the poster session. All submitted abstracts will be
published in the course syllabus.
