the “Consent Agenda” and be voted upon separately.

Audience Participation
Procedures for Audience Participation
Speakers will be recognized by the school board president and will identify themselves by
name and address, group affiliation (if and when appropriate), and topic to be addressed.
Individual speakers are limited to five minutes.
No person shall speak more than once until all wishing to speak have been heard.
All statements shall be directed to the school board president; no person may address or
question Board members individually.
The Board may prohibit public comments that are repetitive, disruptive, or harassing.
The portion of the meeting during which the participation of the public is invited shall be
limited to thirty (30) minutes unless extended by a vote of the Board.

A. Approve movement on the salary schedule, effective January 21, 2014, for the
following individual:
− Gráinne Carroll – MA, Step 3 to MA+15, Step 3
B. Rescind the employment contract for the following individual supplemental salary
position for the 2013-2014 school year, due to failure to return the signed contract
within the designated 30 days:
− Kelly Bohland – noon duty supervisor, $24.77 (daily)
C. Employ the following individuals in supplemental salary positions for the 2013-2014
school year, pending receipt of current BCI and FBI record checks and Pupil Activity
Supervisor Permits as required by Ohio Revised Code:
− James Petas, girls’ head lacrosse coach, $4,802.00
− Grace VanMetre, assistant girls’ lacrosse coach, $3,316.00
− Emily Atherine, OGT/Achievement Test Tutor (hourly), $35.12

G. Approve Ramya Talla, sixth grade, and Saumya Talla, second grade, children of Mr.
and Mrs. Satyanarayana Talla, 7103 Twin Lakes Road, Perrysburg, Ohio, as tuition
students for the period beginning November 25, 2013 until they move into their home
at 2370 Evergreen Road, which is under construction
H. Approve community members to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Ottawa Hills
Schools Foundation: Paul Bishop, Joseph Clarke, and Andy Westmeyer
I. Accept the following donations:
• $50.00 for the Athletic Department, from Mr. Jay and Dr. Gail Mirrow, 2817

J. Approve disposal of two bench press benches and two lifting bars that are no longer
useable in the jr/sr high school weight room

A. Approve an executive session in order to consider one or more of the following
matters:
1. The appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or
compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or
complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual,
unless the public employee, official, licensee or regulated individual requests a
public hearing.*
2. The purchase of property for public purposes, or for the sale of property at
competitive bidding, if premature disclosure or information would give an unfair
competitive or bargaining advantage to a person whose personal, private interest
is adverse to the general public interest.*
3. Conference with an attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving
the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action.
4. Preparing for, conducting, or reviewing negotiations or bargaining sessions with
public employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of
their employment.*
5. Matters required to be kept confidential by federal law or regulations, or state
statutes.*
6. Details relative to the security arrangements and emergency response protocols
for a public body or a public office, if disclosure of the matters discussed could
reasonably be expected to jeopardize the security of the public body or public
office.*
