Nya Carnegiebryggeriet is looking for a new Brewer to strengthen the team Nya Carnegiebryggeriet seeks an experienced, passionate, fun, committed brewer. The team is creating new beers for this brewery and is engaged in work that is both technical and creative, focused on quality, and constantly innovative. We are producing both bottled and kegged beer, some of which will be served on-premises. The capacity of the brewery is approximately 10 000 hl per year. Team members will need a reasonable ability to understand and speak both Swedish and English. This is a fulltime position encompassing all areas of brewhouse operations, cellaring, yeast handling, filtration, finishing, and packaging. The ability to work both independently and with a team is essential. Experience operating automated brewing systems is highly desirable, as is some formal brewing education. Brewers applying for this position will also wish to show: • • • • • • A true love of craft beer, a spirit of collaborative creativity and a commitment to quality. A solid command of brewing science. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to do basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of safe chemical handling. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Physical strength, dexterity, flexibility and temperament necessary for work in a normal small brewery environment. The brewer should start work in June.
