HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF 111 SOUTH 1ST AVE. LOGAN, IOWA 51546 Sheriff’s Report 04-30 Deputy Killpack responded to Liberty Ave. for several suspicious subjects. The area was checked but no one was located. Deputy Klutts responded to a domestic report in Little Sioux. One of the subjects had left before arrival. No charges were filed. Deputy Klutts responded to an animal neglect report in Little Sioux. There was some concern on how the animals were being cared for. Several suggestions were made and they will be monitored. A total of 37 inmates were booked into jail in April, 28 males and 9 females. 05-01 Deputy Cohrs was advised of an ongoing harassment by juveniles in Mondamin. All concerned parties were advised to stop the harassment. Deputy Cohrs took a harassment complaint from a subject on 290th St. All parties were advised that charges are pending. Deputy Denton responded top Modale for a dog running at large complaint. The owner of the dog was located and told to confine the dog. Deputy Denton responded to Hwy 183 south of Pisgah for a suspicious person walking. The area was checked but no one was found. Deputy Doiel responded to a reported personal injury accident on 335th St. The driver refused treatment from rescue. During the accident investigation it was determined that alcohol was a factor. Jaimee Rochholz of Missouri Valley was arrested and transported to jail. Rochholz was charged with OWI, driving with a suspended driver’s license and failure to maintain control. Deputy Doiel stopped a vehicle in Missouri Valley for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be drinking in the vehicle. John Tiffey of Missouri valley was arrested and transported to jail. Tiffey was charged with OWI and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Deputy Denton and Deputy Clemens responded to a domestic assault call in Little Sioux. Jack Tacner of Little Sioux was arrested and transported to jail. Tacner was charged with domestic assault, public intoxication and criminal mischief. 05-02 Deputies Clemens and Killpack responded to Pisgah for a reckless driving complaint. A vehicle matching the description was located and stopped. Brandon Wallis of Pisgah was arrested and transported to jail. Wallis was charged with OWI 3rd offense and driving with a barred driver’s license. Deputy Knickman and Deputy Cohrs responded to Little Sioux for a restraining order violation. Jack Tacner was released from jail and had returned to the residence. Tacner was arrested and returned to jail and charged with violating a restraining order. 05-03 Deputy Knickman arrested Jason Parker of Persia for an outstanding arrest warrant. Parker was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 05-04 Deputy Cohrs responded to California Junction for a family dispute. The matter was settled for now with no charges being filed. Deputy Klutts responded to a speeding complaint on 335th St. The area was and will be patrolled. Deputy Klutts responded to Pisgah for a reckless driving complaint. The vehicle was located but was parked. The area will be patrolled. Deputy Klutts transported a mental patient to Jennie Edmundson for a mental evaluation. 05-07 Deputy Klutts assisted with traffic control on 250th St. Two anhydrous tanks had gone in the ditch and were being removed by the owner. 05-08 Deputy Sieck transported Brandon Kloberdance from the Pott. Co. jail for an outstanding Harrison County arrest warrant. Deputy Doiel responded to a 911 hang-up call that came from the Dover Ave. area. The area was checked but the source of the call was not located. Sheriff Sears and Deputy Denton responded to a family dispute on 330th St. An assault had occurred as a result of the dispute. The suspect, Kevin Corrin was found in a barn on the property. Corrin was arrested and transported to jail and charged with Interference with Official Acts and Assault.
