The resident is expected to far surpass the surgical volume requirements with heavy exposure to rearfoot and ankle reconstruction, revision surgery, trauma, and elective cases. The resident will also have extensive exposure to limb preservation, pediatrics, general orthopedics, rheumatology, and orthopedic trauma. In short, this demanding program is designed to produce confident and well prepared podiatric physicians able to excel in a number of settings.
