Anesthesia Program Department of Anesthesia CARL DUERKSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD NOTICE Dr. Eric Jacobsohn, Professor and Head, Department of Anesthesia, and the Selection Committee for the Carl Duerksen Memorial Scholarship are pleased to announce the 2014 Award recipient: Dr. Raegan Cleven, PGY-4 Department of Anesthesia Dr. Cleven will receive support to participate in the 2014 Operation Walk Project in Nicaragua to provide total knee arthroplasty to local residents through the Concordia Hospital Foundation. The Carl Duerksen Memorial Scholarship was established following the sudden passing of Dr. Carlos N. Duerksen in January 1997. The objective of the Award is to encourage and facilitate personal growth of a resident through participation in a global humanitarian project located outside of Winnipeg.
