THE SUPPORT TEAM • 14 people, 4-5 cars: drivers, navigators, mechanic, cook, masseur, doctor, media and a PR team • All support specialists are a team of experts chosen based on their competencies and experience • The management consists of an international team with extensive experience and knowledge of Russia to organize everything locally A SUCCESSFUL TRACK RECORD • In 2013 Andreas Sachs with the AusTriaTeam proved that the Route Moscow -Vladivostok of 9208 km can be tackled with speed bikes and set a new world record with an official time of 13 days 2 hours 59 minutes. • On the 1st of August the 4 cyclists set out from Moscow’s Red Square. • On the 14th of August at approximately 2 pm local time the AusTriaTeam arrived on the Russiky Island in Vladivostok. • Together the 4 cyclists (Andreas Sachs, Robert Lang, Walter Zelenka, Michael Strasser) crossed the impressive Russki Bridge.
