Empanelment of firm for supply of Three phase 4 Wire LT Inbuilt
CT static energy meters in UHBVN.
This is with reference to this office memo no. Ch-234/ XEN/P-I/ MM/
EMP-180 Dated 04.10.2013 vide which following firms were empanelled for supply of
DLMS compliant Three phase 4 Wire LT inbuilt CT (40-200Amp.) static energy meters
as per Nigams technical specifications & ISS with latest amendments upto 30.09.2014
or till further instructions.
Now it has been decided to extend the empanelment of following firms
upto 31/03/2015:

The firm will seek permission from this office before
manufacturing meters for sale in open market against above empanelment. The
meters accepted through the consumers shall be got tested/sealed from concerned
M&T lab as per above technical specifications before installation at the consumers
premises. The meter shall have BIS mark.

Terms and conditions for empanelment are as under:The empanelled firms may sell their meters in the market through their dealers
at genuine rate without any embargo of the maximum retail price.
Firm shall write on the name plate the words, “Private Sale meter for UHBVN”.
The empanelled firm shall issue the guarantee certificate for one year duly
completed and stamped to the respective consumer and in case any Single
phase meters becomes energy meter becomes defective/damaged during
warranty period, the same shall be replaced free of cost within 15 days.
The material replaced within the warranty period will carry extendable warranty
of the same period (i.e. one year from the date of replacement).
The meter serial number, its capacity, serial numbers of seals and other
relevant information must be displayed on the packing box itself. the
information of meters serial numbers and seals hand written with indelible
marker on the label fixed on the packing box is also acceptable.
This issues with the approval of WTDs, UHBVN at NP-2 of the case
file .
