It’s been a busy few weeks for Santos GLNG.
Together with Queensland Police Service
(QPS) and the Minister for Police, Fire and
Emergency Services Jack Dempsey, Santos
GLNG launched five new road patrol
vehicles that feature QPS’ Fatal Five driving
behaviours. The attention-grabbing vehicles
will serve as a constant reminder to Santos
GLNG staff and other road users to drive
responsibly.
F1 in Schools launch
Injune Tourism morning tea

opportunity to design, build and test their own
model Formula One cars.

Roma-based Santos GLNG employee
James Thian has used his skill with a camera
to raise $4,000 for Wallumbilla State
Emergency Services. His breathtaking
stills of local landscapes were compiled in
calendars and sold to the public.
Students at Roma State College can’t wait
to cross the star t line to design, build and
test their very own model Formula One
race cars. The F1 in Schools program is a
joint par tnership between Santos GLNG
and QMI Solutions.
Finally, staff at Santos GLNG’s Roma
Shopfront enjoyed a visit from the
volunteers of Injune Tourism. The group
swapped ideas on the best ways to share
upcoming events and town attractions with
visitors over morning tea.

Meet the team Anna Ahern
“Prior to my employment with the company, I admired Santos GLNG for its support of our
community. I believe we are very lucky to have Santos GLNG actively employing locals from
the region.”
Originally from Nebo in Central Queensland, Landholder Advisor Anna Ahern has been working
on family cattle properties since leaving university. She has lived in the Roma area for the past
15 years where she now owns and runs two cattle properties with her husband Matt.
Her team negotiates and monitors landholder agreements and strives to understand
landholders’ core business.
