Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust live with RiO in the South Leeds Independence Centre and Bed Bureau Following open procurement Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust selected Servelec Healthcare Limited to provide RiO to support inpatient bed management functionality in the Trust’s South Leeds Independence Centre and their city wide Bed Bureau. Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust has now gone live with RiO7, just 6 months after signing the contract. They are connected to the Spine Personal Demographic Service (PDS) with NHS Smart Cards and the RiO solution is fully hosted by Servelec Healthcare over N3 Connection. RiO will replace manual paper processes and systems enabling the Trust to move to a ‘paper-light’ environment improving administration processing and ultimately patient care. Richard Slough, Head of Informatics from Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust (LCH) said: “LCH signed for Servelec Healthcare’s EPR solution RiO in July last year and following deployment at the beginning of January now provides the Trust with a really strong platform for the development of our electronic patient record for inpatient services. We look forward to developing our use of RiO in the coming months”.
