TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 is able to mattify the appearance of the skin. This benefit can be proved by measuring the reduced gloss of the skin after treatment with TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 containing formulations, as shown in Figure 2. As a consequence, TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 provides excellent covering power in make-up formulations. delta gloss after 1 min Due to a special precipitation process, TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 has a microporous structure that can be precisely adjusted. Processing TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 can be combined with other powders and pigments In powder-based foundations or color cosmetics TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 can be incorporated around 80 °C if the formulation only contains an oil phase. Especially when preparing O/W emulsions, it is recommended to add TEGOLON® ECO 10-10 below 40 °C to the combined phases and homogenize for a short time. 3.
