AMI’s Cables 2014, the 14th edition of AMI’s international conference, will take
place from the 11-13 March 2014 at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne, Germany.
Recognised as the leading international forum looking at polymer
developments in the cables industry, this prestigious event regularly attracts
over 250 international delegates. In the current challenging business
environment it is more important than ever for cable producers and their
customers and suppliers to be aware of the latest material developments
and how these will help improve cable performance and profitability. The
busy two day programme will look in detail at key developments in polymers,
additives, flame retardant technology, cross-linking and their application in
highly innovative markets. Key papers will also look at important issues such
as the impact of the new European Construction Products Regulation on
cable manufacturers and buyers, as well as meeting harmonised fire testing
requirements.
Cables 2014 will aim to place these materials, regulatory and process
developments in the context of the challenging business environment in which
cable producers, their suppliers and customers operate. Industry consultants
AMI, will provide an overview of the market, analysing structural changes and
provide views on the future trends and developments in the industry.
