WELCOME to 2014
In this our 1st year as a non-profit
making association (members club), IGC
will continue to host the many events that
IGC’s heritage has shown to be a winning
combination: Winter Cup, Summer Cup,
Monthly Medal, RU21, Matchplay and 36
hole Club Championship as well as special
events throughout the year that will be
identified in this calendar.
IGC provides one of the biggest
programmes of golf events in Europe:
Competitive golf practically every
weekend of the year visiting many of
Belgium’s fine golf courses including most
of the ‘Royals’.
Competitions to suit all golfers in different
formats that include Stableford,
Strokeplay, individual matchplay and
4BBB interclub matchplay challenges.
This IGC calendar of ‘Fixtures and
Events’ will help you to plan your golf
throughout the year; in total over 100
competitions are scheduled.
We wish all members an enjoyable
golfing year and look forward to seeing
you on the greens.

Note that in 2014, scores from up to 6
cards to count – in the event of a large
number of cancellations due to weather,
the committee reserve the right to reduce
this number.
IGC Seniors vs Juniors
Saturday 29 March at Empereur
In 2014, we are using the IGC Seniors vs
Juniors event as the season’s official
opening. This long running traditional
event sees the ever strong Seniors (55
years+) take on the ever hopeful Juniors
and will be followed by a semi-formal
lunch. Good order is expected, especially
from the Juniors!
IGC Spring Stay & Play
16-18 May
IGC is returning to the “Garden of
England” Kent for the 2014 Spring Stay &
Play.
